Cute Kawaii Stuff -- Thanko Animal Cleaners

Just between you and me, I often eat at the computer while working.  I know, BAD BAD BLOGGER.  Even now I’m enjoying a cup of tea.  And since I know I’m never going to kick this habit, investing in one of these cute cleaning critters might be a good idea.  Perhaps I’ll get one of those mini USB vacuum cleaners too.  Or is that going overboard?

Be The Envy of The Lunch Room

Jul. 12, 2010

By Jessica Okui

cute kawaii stuff -- cute condiment containersWhen I have the free time (which isn’t often) I like to make cute bentos.   However, if I don’t have the time, the next best thing is using bento accessories for lunch.  And I’ll warn you, once you start buying/using bento accessories, it’s hard to stop.  They’re moderately priced, small therefore easy to store, and cute.  There’s food picks, rice molds, tiny utensils, food separators, and nori punches.  Oh, for the love of nori punches!  But I digress; these little containers pictured above are for storing sauces and seasoning.  The penguin even comes with a little spoon.

Available for purchase at JBox for $2.80.

Eyeing a Dachshund Purse

cute kawaii stuff -- dog handbag

This may sound silly but my favorite thing about this purse is the eyelashes.  The eyelashes alone create such a cute content expression.  Think about it; picture the dog with an open eye.  Not so cute, right?

Available for purchase at Cuore for $25.00.

cute kawaii stuff -- kawaii not comics

The site Kawaii Not by Meghan Murphy is a Must See Cute.  Meghan creates four panel webcomics of cute objects with not so cute behavior.  And even though the title is called Kawaii Not, I think you will find it’s pretty darn cute.

You can find more of Meghan’s comics in her book ‘Kawaii Not: Cute Gone Bad’ which is available at Amazon.

cute kawaii stuff -- teddybear shoesI’m starting to see a trend here, first it was Dr. Martin & Hello Kitty, then Converse & Dr. Seuss and now Adidas & Teddy-bears.  What’s next, smurf Jimmy Choos?

The teddy-bear Adidas was designed by Jeremy Scott for the spring/summer 2011 collection.

USB Robot Owl

cute kawaii stuff -- Owl USB robot

Owl:   “Are you sure you want to upload that picture to Facebook?” (tilts head)

The USB robot owl blinks his eyes and moves his head when in “active mode”.  Too bad he can’t dispense some good advice once in a while.  Now that would be useful.

cute kawaii stuff -- kawaii toothbrush holders

I realize these are for toothbrushes but if I had a set I’d use them for my knitting needles.  What would you use them for pens, chopsticks, business cards or…?

Available at Modcloth for $9.99.

Passport to Cuteville

cute kawaii stuff -- kawaii passport case

I wish I had a passport to put in this case. Actually, technically I do have a passport but it expired long ago.  Which means two things: one, I haven’t gone anywhere in a while and two, I’m not planning on going anywhere for a while.  *Sigh*

This passport is available at Dear Sukie for $16.00.  The designer, Kristy Boucher also creates wallets.  In fact, she was featured on the Martha Stewart show where she shared a tutorial on how to make them.
