cute kawaii stuff -- cute knit bird pattern

Singin’ sweet songs
Of melodies pure and true,
Sayin’, (“This is a pattern for you-ou-ou:”)

Sorry, I just can’t help but think of Bob Marley when I see these three little birds.  Actually, to be more accurate they’re three little pigeons.  Anna Hrachovec, owner of the  Mochimochi Shop created the pattern and is sharing it on Craft for free.  Enjoy.

Cute Kawaii Stuff - Mario Playing Cards

Normally when I think of playing cards the word cute doesn’t come to mind but thanks to Nintendo, all that has changed.  Some time in July, Nintendo will be releasing three decks of Mario themed playing cards.  The cards will be priced at ¥1,050 or about $11.00.  For more information about the playing cards, visit Nintendo.

Cute Kawaii Stuff - Shinzi Katoh Tea For Two

This clever “tea for two” set was created by the famous Japanese artist, Shinzi Katoh.  Katoh is probably one of, if not, the most famous zakka designer’s in the world.  I don’t think anything he makes isn’t cute.  Seriously, visit the site and see for yourself.

The panda tea set is available for purchase at Shinzi Katoh Design for ¥2,100 or about $23.00.  There are other variations of this set including a frog, pig, and monkey.
