Normally when I think of playing cards the word cute doesn’t come to mind but thanks to Nintendo, all that has changed. Some time in July, Nintendo will be releasing three decks of Mario themed playing cards. The cards will be priced at ¥1,050 or about $11.00. This clever “tea for two” set was created by the famous Japanese artist, Shinzi Katoh. Katoh is probably one of, if not, the most famous zakka designer’s in the world. I don’t think anything he makes isn’t cute. Seriously, visit the site and see for yourself.
