The word “kawaii” is a Japanese term for “cuteness” that the culture has embraced in almost all aspects of social life. Kawaii translations of every day objects are prevelant throughout the society making otherwise mundane items approachable, loveable and more tolerable. The use of kawaii has become common enough that it is being adopted by other countries all over the world, and rightly so! Cute is everywhere and it makes everything in life a little easier to bear.
